IT Analyst

The IT analyst will be part of the end-user computing (EUC) team, and will be providing consultative and support services to users and other IT support groups. Leveraging best practices, tested technologies and experience, the IT Analyst ensures highly available, efficient and secure access devices. This is a key role in supporting employee population and ensuring that our employees and our broader internal networks are empowered to effectively drive our key initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide users with various IT support issues/resolutions
  • Install, configure and upgrade: Personal computers (desktops, laptops and tablets), thin clients and related peripherals (Operating systems including Windows 7,8,10, IOS)
  • Provide support and answers to queries on-site, via skype or remotely
  • Assist with different tasks related to hardware and software setup for new hires and existing employees
  • Perform backup and recovery duties
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software related problems for end users
  • Device lifecycle and upgrade
  • Proving support for hand held devices used by Independent Drivers in the field
  • Responsible for maintain own queue, updating and resolving tickets, , meeting or exceeding the team committed SLAs,
  • On-call rotation may be required & perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Post-Secondary Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems or recognized equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10, O365, Skype for business, installation, configuration and maintenance and other major applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer hardware installation and configuration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of thin client’s hardware installation and configuration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of smart phone hardware and configuration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications (Word & Excel)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft cloud (O365, OneDrive Microsoft Azure/Skype for Business)
  • Ethernet network topology experience and TCP/IP proficiency an asset
  • In depth understanding of Active Directory Infrastructure
  • Working knowledge: SCCM application packaging, device imaging and patching,
  • Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) is an asset Knowledge

Salary:

$78,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
